Description

Welcome to the magical world of butterflies!

This interactive English lesson helps young learners discover fascinating facts about butterflies while developing vocabulary, reading, listening and speaking skills.

Students will learn key words such as butterfly, wing, flower, nectar, caterpillar, chrysalis, egg, antennae and proboscis. They will explore the parts of a butterfly’s body, revise colours, compare butterfly sizes and learn about the butterfly life cycle.

The lesson also introduces different butterfly species and habitats, including the Amazon rainforest, Madagascar, Bhutan and Papua New Guinea. Children will discover what butterflies eat, how they taste food, where they live and what makes some species unusual.

Grammar practice includes can and can’t through fun “Butterfly Superpowers” activities. Students will decide what butterflies can do, complete true-or-false challenges and answer multiple-choice questions in the final “Butterfly Expert” quiz.

The lesson contains bright visual materials, interactive tasks, mini-scenes, educational facts and friendly characters that keep children engaged from beginning to end.
