Sports and games

Prepare 6 Unit 1 “Sports and Games” is an interactive English lesson designed for Grade 6 students. The lesson helps learners practise sports vocabulary, do/go/play collocations, can and can’t, Present Simple, adverbs of frequency, reading, speaking and communication skills.

The presentation includes interactive games, drag-and-drop tasks, sports riddles, sentence building, speaking challenges, mini-interviews, reading activities and a final Sports Championship game. The lesson is suitable for online classes, homeschooling and individual or pair work.

Students practise vocabulary such as basketball, rugby, tennis, cycling, surfing, snowboarding, hockey, volleyball, gymnastics and athletics, as well as useful structures like “Can you…?”, “How often do you…?”, “I usually…”, “She can…”, and “He doesn’t…”.
